The possibility
space or probability space is the term for all the possible outcomes
in an experiment used to determine probability.

If the triangular
and pentagonal shaped spinners are spun, then there are 15 possible
ways in which they could come to rest. This possible set of outcomes
is the possibility space :

(1,A), (2,A), (3,A), (1,B), (2,B),..., (3,E).
