An odd number is an integer which is not evenly divisible by 2.

1,3,5,7,9,11,13,... is the set of odd numbers. Any whole number which ends in 1,3,5,7,9 is odd. All odd numbers leave a remainder of 1 when divided by 2.

Examples of odd numbers are 89, 467, 4563, 36821, 9 162 875.
